We’re excited to announce that Kootenai Health was recently recognized by the American Heart Association (AHA) with the Get With the Guidelines® Stroke Silver Plus Awards in two categories: Target: Stroke Honor Roll and Target: Type 2 Diabetes Honor Roll.
The former recognizes hospitals that have achieved door-to-needle times within 60 minutes for at least 75 percent of applicable patients. The latter aims to ensure patients with Type 2 diabetes receive the most up-to-date, evidence-based care when hospitalized with cardiovascular disease or stroke.
