Summary
“I believe that preventative health care can be extremely powerful in the lifetime health of an individual. As a family physician, I do not only aim to treat disease with grace and dignity, but also to prevent illness by routine screening, health advice, and early intervention. I feel it is important to empower the individual with the tools and knowledge of how to live a healthy balanced life both mind and body. As a family physician, I also have the unique opportunity to provide a full continuum of care: from conception to delivery, on-going pediatric care, and into adulthood through the end of life. This lifelong continuity conveys an invaluable knowledge of the essence of a person and is a bond that I feel very honored to share with my patients and their families.
I was born in Portland, Oregon and raised in the Northwest. I lived in Seattle prior to moving to CDA in 2009. I am now married with three young children, with my husband, Jonathan, a trainer and co-owner of a local gym, Crossfit CDA. First and foremost I adore spending time with my beautiful family! I love outdoor activities including skiing, hiking, soccer, organic gardening, and backpacking. I suppress a constant itch to travel and experience other cultures. On long weekends I enjoy escaping to our nearby cabin with family and friends to relax, paint, and design jewelry.
